Today is Forrest Logan's birthday. I can't believe my baby is 2! Summer and I came downstairs to find David and Forrest talking about their trip to the goat farm. This morning David woke up early, snatched Forrest out of his bed and headed out to Port City Java for mango smoothie and a scone (he picked it out all by himself) with him for his special day. They headed to the goat farm near our home, loaded with breakfast. They returned home with a huge smile on Forrest's face and "car" ball they picked up at Harris Teeter... this is a HUGE deal. He dies over these little balls and begs for them every time we are at the grocery store. Well, today was his lucky day and Daddy let him pick out what he wanted. This was Daddy's special way of celebrating with him before the party started later in the morning. What a good daddy!
