Snow Day

This past Tuesday we were in for a magical surprise as we got some snow. The kids were so tickled to see their first snow day! It made it even more special being on the Obama inauguration day. We made snowmen, snow angels, ate some snow, and topped it all with some yummy hot cocoa. The next two days it all melted away, unfortunately, but we are grateful to have this experience for the kids.

Cinderella & The Fairy

I could not stop laughing when I took this picture of Forrest dressing up in Summer's Cinderella outfit, completed from her "glassy" slippers to the crown which he kept taking off. Just too cute!

Splash Time

Just a couple of photos of the kids swimming last weekend at the pool. Summer loves to jump in the water, swim to the stairs, do this again and again non-stop, until I tell her its time to go. Forrest is just now figuring out how to keep his head out of the water, while treading his legs like riding a bike. He, like his big sister, has no fear of the water.
